Rental Requirements

To rent a vehicle from Aspire Car Rental, you must meet the following requirements:

International visitors may drive in Jamaica using their valid home country license for up to 12 months. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended but not required if your license is in English.

Insurance Coverage

All Aspire rentals include comprehensive insurance coverage at no additional cost. This covers:

Insurance does not cover damage caused by negligence, driving under the influence, unauthorized drivers, or off-road use.

In the event of an accident, a deductible may apply depending on the circumstances. Contact us for full details.

Booking & Payment

Bookings can be made through our website, via WhatsApp at 876-285-8887, or by email. A booking confirmation will be sent once your reservation is complete.

Payment methods accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and cash (USD or JMD).

Deposit: A security deposit may be required at the time of pickup and will be refunded upon return of the vehicle in good condition.

The booking confirmation locks in your rate and is not transferable. Rates are subject to availability.

Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a set level of fuel and must be returned at the same level. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling charge will apply.

A pre-paid fuel option is available at a flat rate if you prefer not to refuel before returning the vehicle.

Pickup & Drop-off

Free delivery locations: Norman Manley Airport (KIN), hotels, villas, and Airbnbs in the Portmore area.

Deliveries outside of Portmore may incur an additional fee. Contact us for pricing.

Late returns: Please notify us in advance if you will be late. Unauthorized late returns may incur additional daily charges.

Vehicle Use Restrictions

The rental vehicle must only be driven by the authorized renter listed on the rental agreement. Additional drivers can be added at the time of booking.

Accidents & Breakdowns

In the event of a breakdown, contact Aspire immediately via WhatsApp at 876-285-8887. We provide 24/7 roadside assistance across Jamaica.

In case of an accident:

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund.

Late cancellation: Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one day's rental.

No-show: Failure to pick up the vehicle at the scheduled time without prior notice may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid.

Damage & Liability

The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period. Any damage not covered by insurance (including damage caused by negligence) will be charged to the renter's credit card.

A vehicle condition report will be completed at both pickup and drop-off. We recommend reviewing and photographing the vehicle at pickup.
